Discussion

So nobody complains anything, I guess everything works fine with this plugin :o)

  • Top plugin works fine!

Not at all ;-)
The plugin archive need to be rename as codebutton.zip to be installed properly. theguy[at]freesquare[dot]org

It works fine for me. I just installed it via the “extension manager”, by searching for “codebutton” and clicking the install button. — Heiko 2015-08-27 23:09

Wish

The tag file is not ok :) I was expecting that this would insert code tag instead and in the interface i provide the language i need. Is it possible to improove? OK - I found this one codebutton2

The <file> tag is pretty much the same as <code>, but you could use it to show that you quoted a file. There is no disadvantage using <file> instead of <code>. — Heiko 2015-08-27 23:13

Not Installing

This extension will not install via the “extension manager”. The search and install fails and the manual install produces this error and corrupts the system:

Plugin name 'dw_codebutton' is not a valid plugin name, only the characters a-z and 0-9 are allowed. Maybe the plugin has been installed in the wrong directory?

The only way to install is to download the file, rename to codebutton and manually install. Works fine. — liveincan 2019-08-04 04:00
