Universal Edit Button
Compatible with DokuWiki
2008-05-05
The missing download url means that this extension cannot be installed via the Extension Manager. Please see Publishing a Plugin on dokuwiki.org. Recommended are public repository hosts like GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket.
This extension has not been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues.
This plugin adds support for displaying the “Universal Edit Button” in your browser's address bar.
If you're running a development version newer than 2008-06-19 you don't need to install this plugin. The functionality is built in already.
The Universal Edit Button is currently a green pencil icon in the URL bar that indicates a web page is editable. It is similar to the orange “broadcast” RSS icon that indicates there is an RSS feed available.
To see the universal edit button in your browser, you will need to install this Firefox extension, (installation notes). In time, we hope that browsers will support the Universal Edit Button directly, as they have done for RSS feeds.

Feature requests
Andy, i suggest you to rename the plugin somehow, because read in Russian it sounds like 'got f..ed'. Full name 'universaleditbutton' sounds much better. — Ilya Lebedev 2008/06/21 00:06
