:!: External requirements: This plugin requires the following additional components that must be installed separately:

  • mdpage, for rendering markdown. Other plugins that provide this functionality may also be used.

Install the plugin using the Plugin Manager and the download URL above, which points to latest version of the plugin. Refer to Plugins on how to install plugins manually.

Edit any page and use the StackEdit button in the toolbar to open it. All changes are automatically inserted into Dokuwiki's edit field.

When done, click the tick in the top left to close StackEdit and save the page normally.

Configuration and Settings

There are no configuration options.

This is a quite simple plugin, which just link stackedit.js to a Dokuwiki button.

DISCLAIMER: I am not currently using DokuWiki anymore. This plugin is essentially unmaintained and will only be updated to make it generally compatible with newer Versions of Dokuwiki. If you want to take it over, feel free to create a fork and tell me about it, so I can link to your version.

Known Bugs and Issues

ToDo/Wish List

  • The badges function is quite unnecessary, so I will try to remove that.
  • Add additional buttons for the wrap plugin.

  • Dokuwiki does not render my text correctly and only displays it as plain text!
    • Please make sure your markdown renderer plugin (eg. mdpage) is working correctly.
