About
DokuSIOC makes your wiki part of the Semantic Web!
It integrates the SIOC ontology within DokuWiki and provides an RDF/XML export of the wiki pages. Optionally it pings the PTSW service on updates after saving a new/edited wiki article.
What is SIOC?
The SIOC initiative (Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities) aims to enable the integration of online community information. SIOC provides a Semantic Web ontology for representing rich data from the Social Web in RDF. […] SIOC enables new kinds of usage scenarios for online community site data, and allows innovative semantic applications to be built on top of the existing Social Web. The SIOC ontology was recently published as a W3C Member Submission, which was submitted by 16 organisations.
What is PTSW
PingtheSemanticWeb.com is a web service archiving the location of recently created/updated RDF documents on the Web. PingtheSemanticWeb.com is used by crawlers or other types of software agents to know when and where the latest updated RDF documents can be found.
