It would be great, to publish some kind of release roadmap.

In the past, we published releases irregularly. To make planning for users and developers easier, we switched to a six month release schedule. Releases are now due in April and October each year. However, no one is working full time on DokuWiki (and we have lives, too) so we can't give any hard release days.

You can help with getting releases ready on time (even if you can't code) by joining a team and helping.

If you are eager to try a newer version before it is released, fetch it from the Git repository or download one of the daily snapshots.
