In the 90's a paper encyclopedia (Encyclopedie van de Zaanstreek) was published. Two volumes of about 700 pages. In 2016 the encyclopedia was scanned en with OCR it was searchable. The PDF-files were transformed to text files in the form of lemma's. These were imported into the wiki. The complete wiki consists of about 5000 pages.
