Take a look at our embedded programming site, built with Dokuwiki. As a manufacturer of embedded systems and instrument controllers, we use dokuwiki to provide comprehensive documentation for our single board computers and microcontroller products. It's a great platform for providing specifications for our embedded hardware products C compiler and programming IDE.
Dokuwiki enables us to easily incorporate C language code examples, provide glossaries for our C programming functions, and application information for microcontroller projects, electronic circuits, graphic user interfaces and instrument controllers.
We are now building on the site by including instructional YouTube videos for various microcontroller projects.
Why DokuWiki? It's easy to customize, edit, and maintain. It's a simple yet complete CMS that makes it easy to get a web site up and operating. Over the years we've used several production methods for our product documentation (MS Word, Adobe products), but all were difficult to generate, publish, and update. Dokuwiki empowers all of us to write and publish confidently, without the hurdles and hassle of other methods.
