====== When will the next version be released? ======

:?: It would be great, to publish some kind of release roadmap.

:!: In the past, we published releases irregularly. To make planning for users and developers easier, we switched to a six month release schedule. Releases are now due in April and October each year. However, no one is working full time on [[:DokuWiki]] (and we have lives, too) so we can't give any hard release days.

You can help with getting releases ready on time (even if you can't code) by joining a [[:team]] and helping.

If you are eager to try a newer version before it is released, fetch it from the [[:devel:Git]] repository or download one of the daily [[devel:snapshots]].
